Pacific Island Knowledge 2 Action Resources is proud to present the 12th Annual Utah Pacific Island Heritage Month Kick-Off celebrating the beginning of a month of festivities focusing on the impact of Pacific Islanders within the state of Utah. The Kick-Off is a truly community based and inclusive event that not only showcases our Pacific Island community but invites the wider community to also participate and become educated and involved with Pacific Island heritage and history.


The Kick-Off is an all ages event that is filled with food, small businesses, community organizations, cultural booths, and performers. We know our Pacific Island community is large so we want to invite all Pacific Islanders to come represent their own island nation! We're looking for:


  • Performers (musicians, dancers, etc)
  • Food Vendors
  • Retail Vendors
  • Community and Non-profit organizations
  • Youth entrepreneurs
  • Cultural Booths (you will educate children on your chosen Pacific Island nation)

Selected performers and cultural education booths will receive stipends.
